Do you have private parking?
Yes, the hotel has free private parking, closed but unsupervised. We also accept coaches.
It is equipped with 2 electric terminals for electric cars.
Can I change my booking?
Yes. You just need to call +33 (0)5 53 59 08 29 or send us an email to contact@hotel-meysset.com.
Note: If you have booked though an on-line agency (Booking or other) you must go through the on-line agency.
I have reserved for the nights of 25 to 26 April, up until when can I cancel my booking without cost?
Conditions of booking :
Reservation must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number and its expiry date.
Prices are per room and per night.
For any booking with breakfast included or in a half-board pension, non-used services cannot be claimed.
Total amonut of the stay has to be paid before departure (Cash, VISA and MasterCard, American Express, Bank cheques accepted)
The hotel is entirely non-smoking.
Conditions of cancellation:
In case of cancellation before the begginong of the stay, or in case of no-show or departure before the end of the stay, we will request the following compensation :
- Until 3 days before arrival : no compensation
- Direct reservations (telephone/email/our website)
Between 2 days and arrival date, no show, or departure before end of stay : 100 % of the first night (including breakfast and half-board pension)
- Reservation through distributors (Booking.com / Hotels.com group /…)

And if we travel with our baby?
The hotel has 3 travel cots (installed in the room upon request) as well as two high chairs in the restaurant.
Can I travel with my animal?

Only small dogs or cats weighing up to 8 kg are accepted, with a maximum of one pet per room. The animal must be accompanied by its owner.
In the case of guide dogs, weight or size restrictions do not apply.
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted.
Prior to booking, guests must contact the hotel to check the availability of a room that can accommodate a pet. Only PREMIUM rooms can accommodate a pet. The customer must specify the breed and weight of the animal. In the absence of this prior request, the hotel reserves the right to refuse arrival (the 1st night will be charged, in accordance with our booking and cancellation conditions).
The dog must be correctly trained and in total obedience to the owner.
The animal must never be left alone without the owner’s company.
In all common areas of the hotel (corridors, reception, lounge, car park, garden, terrace), it is compulsory to use a lead or a carrier.
The hotel will request the immediate departure of any animal displaying dangerous or unacceptable behaviour.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of dangerous or unacceptable behaviour:
- Bite
- Scratching
- Excessive barking or meowing
- Apparent illness
- urination or defecation in common areas or in the room
The owner is responsible for cleaning up their pet’s waste outside and inside the hotel.
If the pet is in the room at the time of cleaning, cleaning will not be carried out. The owner must contact reception to arrange an alternative time, subject to availability.
The pet owner is responsible for all material and personal damage caused by the pet and undertakes to assume the costs arising from any claim or damage related to the pet vis-à-vis the hotel, employees, guests or other clients.
The pet’s stay is charged at €12.00 per day, for one pet, without bedding or food.
Prior to departure, the guest must request an inspection of the room(s). Depending on the assessment of the check-out person, an additional cleaning fee or extra charges may be made for any damage.
On arrival, the pet owner will be asked to sign the Hotel Restaurant Le Meysset’s house rules for the acceptance of pets.

Yes, depending on family composition. Please contact us directly.
What payment options do you accept?
You can pay by “Chèques Vacances”, bank cheques, cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express.

How do we get to the hotel if we take the train to Sarlat?

At what time can I check-in?
So that our clients can benefit from the best quality, your room will be available from 16h onwards.
What to do if I arrive late? Will somebody be available to greet me?
We ask our guests to arrive between 4.00PM and 8.00PM, however the reception is open from 8AM to 8PM, 7 days a week. Out of hours, please contact the hotel in advance so that we can take the necessary steps to accommodate you.
Is it possible to have dinner at the hotel and restaurant ?
Yes, the restaurant Le Meysset is open all-year round.
- Summer time (April to October included) : every day, for lunch and dinner
- Winter time (November to March included) : Tuesdays to Sundays, for lunch and dinner
I would like to dine but I am allergic, what can you offer?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are allergic, the chef will offer you something accordingly
Is breakfast included in the room price?
Breakfast is an option that costs €14 (for children under 10, breakfast is €7.)
Do the rooms have safes?
No. However, we offer clients the possibility to place valuables in the hotel safe during their stay.
Should I pack a hair dryer?
No. The bathrooms are equipped with a hair-dryer.
What time must the rooms be vacated?
The rooms must be vacated by 11.00AM at the latest.
Is wifi connection available in all the rooms?
Wifi connection is free and available in all the rooms and communal areas of the hotel.
Could I leave my bags the hotel?
Yes. You may leave your bags at the hotel reception if you wish, within a reasonable time limit.
Is it possible to add additional beds to the rooms?
Yes, an extra bed, charged at €15, can be installed in some of the rooms.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Yes, all rooms are air-conditionned, as well as the restaurant room, and the reception.
Can you accommodate people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. We are working on having one room accessible for people with reduced mobility and other handicaps.
Do you lend bath towels for the swimming-pool
Yes, we rent bath towels for 2 euros a towel
Is there electric terminal in the car park ?
Yes, the car park is equipped with two electric terminals.
